When holiday episodes were a thing
I’ve been rewatching Friends lately and out of sheer coincidence I watched one of the Thanksgiving episodes yesterday and I miss when shows collectively did holiday episodes. If you’re looking to stream some, here you go: The 32 best Thanksgiving episodes to watch this holiday season, from Gilmore Girls to Modern Family

Abigail McGrath’s legacy
“Authoritarian governments view culture as a threat because in the writing and music and acting of artists, you can sometimes glimpse alternatives to the current reality. We live in a timeline that says AI domination is inevitable, there will be no future except constant war on a dead Earth, and the people with the most money will get to decide who and what survives. The arts remind us that none of the current truisms are absolutes—that there are other ways of living, existing, and being.” Abigail McGrath's Legacy of Art-Making Reminds Us That Another Way Is Possible
What a year for “you are the monster” to get a hell of an adaptation.

This is my current obsession show! It’s a smart show (by the creator of Breaking Bad) with a lot of “wtf is happening?!”. I love that the audience doesn’t know any information that the main character doesn’t know, so we are 100% strapped in for the ride. That’s all I’m saying because this is truly best experienced knowing nothing about what it's about.

This is a beautiful documentary that lets you get to know Selena through tons of home footage, interviews, and performances. Her husband, sister, brother, father, mother, and 2 other band members also sit down to talk about how Selena y Los Dinos was formed. It’s a great behind-the-music kind of documentary that focuses on Selena’s life and who she was.

I’m so glad this series got a new season. It is deeply funny, and also one of the very few current shows that is actually pointing at everything happening right now—specifically, billionaires destroying everything. If you enjoy Michael Schur’s shows like Parks & Rec and The Good Place this is an absolute must watch!
That’s all for now! Thanks for reading, and as always feel free to shout out anything you’ve been loving lately!
Thanks for reading!
